Exhaust tip install guide

  1. 1 Test fit the tip
    Tools:
    • Tape Measure

    Slide the tip onto the exhaust to confirm sizing. The exhaust should extend 2″ into the tip, and the only thing touching the exhaust pipe should be the mounting tabs. You may need to trim the exhaust pipe so it does not extend too far into the exhaust tip.

  2. 2 Mark the holes
    Tools:
    • Marker

    With the tip positioned where you want it, mark each of the four tab locations on the exhaust pipe with a marker. If the exhaust does need to be trimmed, now you can mark the exhaust with a marker to trim if needed.

    It can make it easier to drill the top hole first, install only the top bolt and tighten. Then go back and mark the remaining 3 holes to insure perfect alignment.

  3. 3 Drill the holes

    Remove the tip. Drill each marked location with a 5/16″ bit. Wipe away burrs and debris before refitting the tip.

  4. 4 Install the exhaust tip
    Tools:
    • 7/16" Wrench
    • 7/16 inch Socket

    Install the exhaust tip using the supplied hardware with a 7/16″ socket and wrench. Tighten all four bolts evenly until snug.
