Most companies treat the mini cradle like another structural bracket—welding up a boxed 1/4" steel assembly, bolting on traction bar mounts you don't need, and charging you $1,600 for a part that duplicates brackets you already have.

We took a different approach.

Our Mini Cradle is a single-piece formed 3/16" steel body—laser-cut and formed, not welded—finished with aluminum accent overlays. It bridges our 4-Link frame bracket and your existing Traction Bar frame bracket. Run the cradle in your primary color and the overlays in your accent, and the blank spot becomes part of the same two-tone aesthetic you're carrying across the truck—a continuous, intentional transition instead of a gap. That completes the look. That's it.

No welded box. No redundant mounts. No $1,600 price tag for structure you don't need.

Is this a structural component? No. The Mini Cradle is purely aesthetic—it visually connects your 4-Link and Traction Bar frame brackets for a finished, continuous look. Your existing brackets handle all structural loads.

You use steel too—isn't that the same overkill you criticize? The overkill was never the steel—it's how competitors build it. They weld up a boxed structural bracket with integrated traction bar mounts that duplicate brackets you already run. Ours is a single-piece formed 3/16" steel body—no welds, no added structural mounts—finished with aluminum accent overlays. Same philosophy as building it light: take out everything that isn't doing a job. We just do it in the materials we cut and form in-house.

Can I run 4-Link + Traction Bars without it? Absolutely. Your suspension works perfectly without the Mini Cradle. This is for builders who want every detail dialed—no visual gaps, just clean lines from frame to axle.

Do I need this if I only have the 4-Link? No. The Mini Cradle specifically connects the 4-Link frame bracket to the Traction Bar frame bracket. It's only relevant if you're running both components.

Yes. Same customization options as our leveling kits and 4-link systems. Choose from our standard colors or match any color in the Prismatic Powders catalog—over 6,000 options.

Do I have to buy the Fox stabilizers?
No, you can use any steering stabilizer designed for 3/4+ ton trucks. We offer the Fox stabilizers in the builder.

Will this work with my lift?
This kit requires at least a leveling kit to work properly. It will NOT work on stock height trucks. Must use factory front differential cover.

How long until it ships?
Lead times vary by season, typically 1-2 weeks from order to ship. All manufacturing is done in-house at our Blountville, TN facility.

Why Most Tall Kits Drive Like a Boat

Here's why so many lifted trucks look incredible parked and feel terrible moving: nobody corrected the geometry.

Lift a Super Duty this high without relocating the track bar and drag link and they end up fighting each other — your axle shifts off center and the steering darts at every seam in the road. Worse, the lift pulls your caster down, and caster is what keeps a truck tracking straight and centering itself in the lane. Lose it and the truck wanders all over the highway. The taller the lift, the worse all of it gets.

We refused to build that truck.


Eight Inches, Done the Only Right Way

This is the biggest lift we build — and the height where cutting corners hurts the most. So we don't cut them. At eight and a half inches, correcting the geometry isn't optional, which is why the full four-link front end comes standard.

While the spacer kits leave your factory radius arms fighting the lift, our four-link replaces them entirely and controls your caster and pinion through the whole range of travel. That's what lets a truck this tall track dead straight, center itself in the lane, and bring the wheel back on its own out of a turn. It articulates better off-road and rides better on it.

And at this height, it's the centerpiece of the build. A full four-link and bracket set, sitting tall and out in the open, powder coated to match your truck — there's more of your build on display than on any other system we make, and all of it is yours to customize.

The rest of the system is engineered to match:

  • 8.5" of front lift on a 7" Icon coil spring with a 1.5" coil spacer — real spring under the truck, not a stack of spacers
  • Rear lift block raised to match, so the truck sits completely level
  • Replacement brake lines, front and rear, sized for the new height
  • Longer shocks, required at this height — you can't run factory shocks or extensions this tall, so a Fox shock is part of every build

This is a complete, engineered system — not a box of parts you're hoping work together.

Complete the Truck: Mini Cradle + Traction Bars

A lift gets you height. This is what makes it look finished.

Add the mini cradle and traction bars and the whole build comes together — the rear fills out, the lines tie front to back, and your color carries all the way through instead of stopping at the front axle. This is the piece that takes your truck from lifted to done.

And while it's completing the look, it's working underneath. The traction bars plant your power and kill the axle wrap and wheel hop under hard throttle or a loaded trailer. The mini cradle settles the front end and quiets the clunk over rough ground. Same in-house fabrication, same custom color — front to back, one truck, one vision.

One note: the traction bars need a little drilling and tapping to mount.
